Using the pecl svn PHP extension, Infonomix is now able to browse subversion repositories.
Support is limited at the moment, but I’m hoping to switch from Trac over to Infonomix at some point in the future. When that happens, support will improve drastically!
Yay! Infonomix is now listed at HotScripts!
Infonomix @ HotScripts
This is good, hopefully Infonomix will get some more users and feedback from the community.
I just updated the SQLite model for Infonomix and conducted some minimal tests. Its operational, which is great!
One of the tickets (#20) asks the question of whether we want to add a wiki component to Infonomix. Its a great idea, but if we move forward with it, when should we start?
I’m leaning towards using either sycaless or private-wiki, probably private-wiki. I’ll need to decide how to implement including additional sitemaps, either the way I usually do with Nexista or an alternative method used with Cocoon.
Prodgex is our project management software. It’s a very basic program for tracking time and can even allow the user to create projects with specific tasks to work on for themselves or employees. It’s not open-source yet, but I believe our intent is to release it as such. Like I said the program is very basic, but sometimes what you need most is a simple tool.
As we work on Infonomix, one of the changes I’m making in general is a switch to using fastcgi instead of mod_php. I’m making this change because software created for cgi use should be fully compatible with mod_php, but not necessarily the other way around. Furthermore, some web servers do not have a php module, and can only use cgi or fast cgi.
Welcome to infonomix - this is a new blog. We’ll have to wait and see where it goes.
